the flurries turned into flakes

Crazy weather.
Foils the plans.

After some deliberation we decided against travelling into Vancouver this morning. We were hoping to visit our friends at St. Nina's. But, there are too many unpredictable variables. I hate being on the road with crazy drivers who do not know how to drive in this weather.

It is still snowing here in Langley and they predict it will freeze tonight making the roads worse for tomorrow.

It was a wise decision. It is now hour 25 of continuous snow in Vancouver. I am at work and the snow has caused mayehm all over the GVRD and Fraser Valley. So much so that friends who came over from UBC way are now camped out on our couch. This does not change the fact that I regretted not being able to see you. We had a suprising number of hardy soles who walked, bused and drove to church, but all from the local area.
Ahh best laid plans. Let's try and make a new plan for the near future.
