Last night Hannah and I spent some good time together putting rags in her hair. We have great success with this method. Her hair becomes so curly and bouncy and the curls last all day. Much better than a curling iron and I enjoy the old fashioned method.
Despite evidence to the contrary - flooding roads and grey days - there are signs of spring. I found these crocuses among the lavender.
Terracotta pots patiently waiting to be filled.

Beautiful - both the daughter and the flowers!
As the grass is always greener, I grew up with (and still have) curly hair and I hated it as a child.
Now, I've made my peace, though.
rags are easier to sleep in too.
I cannot wait for spring.
winter has overstayed his welcome this year.
my filmed crocus photos are more vibrant than yours...and they are right-side up to boot :)
