so it goes

We are the proud owners of a slight used emac. Lovely. It has its new spot in a room that was generally used for laundry overflow... what is cool is that we can listen to good music while we do the laundry... and the youth are now utilizing a new space in the house. We bought this house 3 years ago and there are two rooms we rarely use. Now, with the computer set up in this space... we will claim some more living area. I was extremely frustrated by the fact that we are not using the space we have effectively.

We also bought this house with some old appliances. Hence the hot water tank episode. Now it appears our dishwasher is again on the fritz. We bought ourselves some extra time with that appliance last year but it is not working properly. So, we are embarking on research... I want black/ stainless steel. We are going to hit the slightly bruised, scratched section of several suppliers to see if we can get a deal!

I have booked my holidays for the summer. I have requested either the two weeks before the August long weekend or the two weeks after.... I would prefer July ... as I usually pretty desperate for a break by then but maybe in my new environment I will not be feeling so stressed.

We saw Cloverfield last night. Took the entire family. The theatre was packed. LOUD. It has prompted some good discussion on film making. My son, who is quite the visual/ creative/ thinker was quite impressed. He loves movies and he loves story telling.
