H and L have gone to visit a monastery with the youth group. We will pick them up after Vespers. We are having soup and bread tonight. I am making greek fassolada and 7 grain bread. This is my second attempt at the bread - the first time I used molasses and I didn't like it one bit. I am using brown sugar today. We shall see.
I am also perusing my herb garden books. I want to plant more herbs this year. It is still way too cold to plant anything outside. I am thinking about setting up some seeds indoors...
I am doing laundry.

the bread turned out better.
the soup was not so good. this is the second soup I have tried and it has fallen way short of the mark. bland - bleh - totally uninspired soup.
