could the day be any more complicated
What a flippin' nightmare yesterday turned out to be!
A rather long time ago it was decided that mainland orthodox would play a hockey game vs the island orthodox. The original date didn't work for the majority of the mainland players so the date was changed to Aug 23rd. In the meantime one of the ferries was taken off the route and our "reserved" $17.70 sailing was canceled. But, not to worry - they will accomodate you on the next available boat - so our 8am sailing turns into the 9am sailing but you still have to show up between 7am and 7.30 for them to guarantee you a ride on... so just exactly what are you paying for...
Anyhoo... at the same time all this ferry chaos was happening my son declares they have a pre-season game on Sunday and they have a special practice on Saturday - so I guess he is not going to the Island.

I am trying to get my head around this - is Mainland Orthodox a group of hockey playing priests? Or is it a special sort of hockey?
We have Rugby League and Rugby Union - perhaps you have Hockey Orthodox which uses different sticks - or balls?
