clear skies

I will walk to work today. It is NOT raining. How pleased am I?
There is talk that it will be raining this evening. I can handle that.
My mind is awash with numbers. I received 6 new passwords/ number combinations yesterday. I can barely keep them straight.
Einstein said we spend too much mental energy remembering random numbers.

Already the lenten food battles have begun. What shall we eat for dinner? I am good with toast and peanut butter. Unfortunately my 13 year old son and my husband do not agree.

Stupidity. These are such stupid disagreements when you think that the majority of the world's population would be grateful for any nourishment.

Same old thing over and over again. Apparently I need to keep learning.

I'm totally fine with toast and peanut butter too.

My fallback this year has been bread and those cartons of soup. Yum.

i LOOOVE peanut butter. it is a daily staple, usually, for me.

i do see perhaps thought that guys, who seem to eat more than me at any rate, would want a little more...

maybe some veggies? i am so BAD at cooking right now - i am eatting leftovers from my fave resturant, Ceylonta, which is SriLankan food... yummmmm... veg talie is yummy!

other than this, i have been known to eat ceral for dinner...

hm. yes the food thing. blah.
I just make what I make, and they can eat it or not. that would bring peace to your home, no? ;)

Hmm...I think P. would eat pb and j every day if that's what I wanted. He thinks I don't make it ENOUGH during the fast. Meanwhile, I'm not fasting but STILL think that he should be eating more variety. So I stress out about his food. How dumb is that?

Elizabeth, I miss Ceylonta.

We also miss Andrea's in Langley. Actually, the prices are quite good there, and we would go there a lot during fasts, for hummus and pita, or for fries. And, of course, coffee.

My w.v. is subshi, which makes me think...why not some sushi?

One of our staples is three ingredients with three food groups:
Chips and salsa with lots of black beans added to the salsa. We don't eat peanut butter or tofu, so Lent can get a little tough.
