I have my mother's hands. Wrinkly. I was looking at them the other day and was amazed to see how much they reminded my of my mum.

We moved our copper beech tree. It is much happier in its new location but it has been attacked by meely bugs (we think) - little white fuzzy bugs that are attached to the underside of the leaves and can be seen buzzing around the tree.

Our tomatoes are doing quite well.

We bought a grill basket and used it for the first time. This is way easier than doing skewered veggies. We shall be eating a ton of grilled vegetables this summer.

yum.
Just the other day I held up my hands to Kevin and said the same thing. I look down at my hands and sometimes I almost think they are my mother's.
When I read the post and looked at the picture (without reading further) I thought, wow, RW's Mom's hands sure are youthful!!
I am pretty certian that I will have my Grandmother's hands when I am old (Lord willing that I live that long of course). I can already see the blue veins under the skin. My Grandmother's hands, these veins are more pronounced. Funny how age wittles one down to the essence that youth hides.
Hope the tree gets better! Lovely tomattoes and what a lot of good vegetables to eat!
I also have my mother's hands, complete with short and stubby fingers.
How do you get tomatoes to grow in the Northwest? Do share
beautiful pictures.
I need a grill basket!
(and I think I should post a photo of my hand - which is my father's)
How can Canadian tomatoes be doing so much better than my Sonoma tomatoes? My starts are fine but only one of the seeds I planted sprouted.
And I'm running out today to get a grilling basket.
