thoughts of the day

I am feeling slightly behind the eight ball. I am very busy at work. I feel as soon as hit the office I don't look up. I am working on a bunch of projects and I am constantly being interrupted to answer a quick question. Nothing can completed with one phone call.

We are hitting laundry crisis point.

We have a hot water issue. We run out. Frequently. We have a new tank so, I need to make some phone calls.

We need more fruit and veggies.

I am getting very tired of making lunches.

I need to turn this around. So, in the spirit of these words:

I am thankful that I have secure employment.
I am thankful that we have an inhouse washer and dryer and for choice of clothing.
I am thankful for healthy children that I have to NAG to do their chores.
I am thankful for running water.
I am thankful that the grocery store is always well stocked with choices.
I am thankful that my children eat peanut butter sandwiches without complaint.

Other things:

A lovely new salmon coloured tulip has appeared in the garden. I am going to take it to work.

My daughter and I are going to watch the grade 12's final dance production. There are some very talented kids in this grade and it will be fabulous.

My husband shall eat pizza and he is happy so I am happy.

I am hoping to get to the nursery this weekend. The sun is supposed to shine and I look forward to working in the garden.

Way to turn it around, RW. Always helps to remember that these frustrations, too, are gifts from God and need not overcome us when put in the right perspective.

Thank you for sharing with us.

I abhor making lunches.
It's so easy to take water - running, clean, potable water for granted, isn't it?
(I've had laundry going for hours.)
