weekend recap

It was a good weekend. Saturday after work I came home and did not leave. I sat on my deck in the sunshine and read my book and visited with my husband. It is one of our favourite things to do. Sit together and visit. Talk about plans for the summer - plans for the future - just talk.

It was a spectacular day - and today promises to be the same. I am about to leave early for work. Tomorrow is a statutory holiday so that is my carrot I dangle for myself. I dislike intensely having to go into work early to get things done so I won't be interrupted; but I dislike more the feeling that I am behind the 8 ball and scrambling to keep up. I am hopeful that it will only take one day of extra labour to get things under control.
