random bits
The work weeks begins with a Tuesday - our free evening day - making the whole back getting back to the grind seem less burdensome.
We shall eat brown rice and steamed fish and veggies for the remainder of the week; my husband's asthmatic cough is back and this diet seems to cut down the irritation and allow his lungs to recover.
I am wondering about the flue shot. Should we get them? Should my husband the teacher get it - I am thinking yes because of his asthma.
My heart aches for my daughter who is feeling the pains of young adolescent affection.
My son's football team lost again. This team is an entirely different beast than his team last year. Lots of lessons to learn.
My son has a new pea coat and wore it all day yesterday.
It is just getting light now and it is 7.30am - when do we change the time?
I have been listening to The National: Boxer album almost non stop.

Sounds like a good beginning. It is hard to be an adolescent!! My love to you this day!
time changes at midnight on halloween.
I love pea coats and have always wanted one, but only if I could find a vintage-y second hand one.
the national is fall music, I think.
