DELIBERATE

You know the feeling when you keep hearing the same message over and over again. From different sources. You can either listen to the message or blindly turn your back. I am choosing to listen.

I have chosen a word for 2010.

Deliberate: carefully weighed or considered; studied; intentional or leisurely and steady in movement or action; slow and even; unhurried

I am giving the new year a theme. I have a list of things I would like to accomplish. A list of things I would like to change. A new direction. But, the biggest goal is to focus on just being more deliberate in my actions and my words. In all that I do and and say. To really think about the implication of the choices I make.

Ali Edwards' One Little Word Project can be read about here. You can splurge and purchase yourself a reminder of your word crafted by the lovely lisa leonard here.

I am thankful for all the new friends I have met this year. Thanks for you kind words and encouragement. I am ready to greet 2010.

I agree, very good word! One of my friends chose "chillax" one year, I'm still giggling about that ;)
