West Coast winters are wet. It is raining and dark. And the prediction is that it will stay dark and grey all day.
Mr. W has the dreaded COLD. He is quite miserable. It is his last weekend before going back to school and he is completely bummed out about it. We will keep him well medicated and send him to bed to sleep and pray that it doesn't affect his lungs. Prayers for a speedy recovery would be appreciated.
Today is the last day the Christmas Tree lights will shine. We will deconstruct the tree tonight.
I am sitting in the sun room enjoying the glow one last time.
I left my contact lens at my friends so today is a spectacle day.
One of my more deliberate actions this year is to read more YA fiction.
I read In the Garage last night. I have a couple of other novels sitting here to tackle. Both H and L have read The Uglies over the break for English class. I will probably read that too, before they head back.
The latest Kingsolver novel is not really inspiring me too much. Her prose is lovely but I am not at all engaged. So, how much more time do I invest? I think not much. I will take it back to the library. Maybe try again later. Much more to read and do.
Thinking about eating more fish.

I'll have to check those YA books out. I'm intriqued by what my boys are reading (or not reading) and finding something interesting for them is always a task of mine.
Thinking about eating more fish?!
I like the way you tacked that on at the end there...good idea!
I've wanted to read the Uglies myself.
I was also underwhelmed. And, I'm kind of pouty about it because it has all the elements I like - Kingsolver, history, Diego Rivera and Frieda Kahlo, Russian history, etc.
