Whoa. Yesterday was a LONG day. I am all mixed up with my sleep. As in I am hardly getting any. Finally last night I was dead to the world by 10.30pm. Hopefully by the weekend I will be feeling close to normal. Already I am missing my daughter. She will be in Miami now. Our weather is set to improve by the weekend. We are off to visit friends on Saturday and I am looking forward to it.
I read a fantastic YA novel while away
Flash Burnout by LK Madigan - I enjoyed the voice and dialogue. My son is just finishing it, and then my husband shall read it. My daughter will claim it after she returns. Already I am looking forward to her new novel in September.

I think is it really amazing that as a family you read. And together. Maybe not at the same time, but you do and want to read the same book. Beyond amazing. Something to cherish. Jealous.
