- Jerry, the '97 Jetta - totally fun to drive, a tad bit musty but serves his purpose nicely
- my nose piercing - it has healed nicely - and it seems less foreign to me
- the Fleet Foxes - how I wish I could see them live and in person
- muesli for breakfast - oats and yogourt soaked together with grated apple, lemon juice and almonds
- deck time - sitting in the sunshine
For years we played a version of High/ Low with our children. You go around the dinner table and you have to name one good thing and one not so good thing that happened to you that day. You don't get a pass. Something had to come in at the top and something at the bottom. We pretty much stole the idea from the movie The Story of Us. The idea is to prevent the yes or no answer to questions and to perhaps get some insight into the other. This new dinner game will take us through the summer.

are those lace hydrangea's? I heart hydrangeas.
we do a version of high/low. best part/ worst part.
You pierced your nose? YOU PIERCED YOUR NOSE?!
We play best thing/worst thing too!
A nose piercing, eh? I'm impressed!
What a great idea for a game! I must try that - trying to get Eldest to talk at mealtimes is like getting blood from a stone.
