blue skies and being receptive

The ebb and flow of my life has changed.  The day begins earlier and ends later.  Our dinner routine has been altered.  Or rather, interrupted.  We need to plan better.    I am ADAMENT that we eat together at least 3 nights a week and we are struggling to make that happen.  My daughter has dance rehearsals every evening till the 17th and her school shows are next week... so by the third week of May we may be settling into a new pattern.  Till then we are flying by the seat of our pants.

I have an interview today.  Just for another new location.  This time closer to home.  Not as close as before but close enough that I could still walk on a fine weather day.  Which would solve the car issue for the summer.  And public transit could easily be taken.  The funny thing is that I am settling in quite nicely at my new location but, but, this would be a better fit for me and my family.  But, I go to the interview from a good space.  I am happy where I am.  And, it has just been revealed that there might be a chance to adjust my shift and go from Tuesday to Saturday to Monday to Friday - a wonderful possibility.

The skies are blue.  The wind has stopped.  The sun is shining.  Perhaps it will be a fine spring day.

Game Day too.

Pizza for dinner.

Happy Friday to all' you' all!

Baseball has made a mess of our dinner plans. At least we have the weekends to eat together.
