weekend recap

The weather was all mixed up.  Today, it rained all day.  Today it was supposed to be 17 degrees C.  Nope.  Not even close.  Instead it was a day to make a pot of spaghetti and do the laundry.   Now, we are on hold because we need to shower and bathe.   The washing machine cannot run at the same time as the shower.  There is not enough pressure.  Is this normal?  We had the same issue in our other house.  So, we adjust. 

We had friends over for dinner and we watched the hockey game on Saturday.  We ate burgers and a spinach/ strawberry/ goat cheese salad.  My good friend is the queen of desserts.  She whipped up some cream and served it on top of bananas and topped it with melted semi-sweet chocolate.  Such a thing!

We checked out a Toyota Tacoma - this to replace the Subaru.  A beautiful truck but, there is no way we are buying a new one.  And, I am still vehicle less.  But, there might be another change in the works for me... whereby I might not need to get a vehicle just yet.  Keep your fingers crossed.  I could take the bus easily and quickly get to my destination... We shall see.

I need to finish my book.  It is due back on Tuesday.  I have been eating ju-jubes.
