just a little clarification - I am not looking for a new job - we are on job searches for our two 15 year olds.
we planted our herbs and lettuce (again)
they are promising sunshine for saturday - I am counting on it and I will be gravely disappointed if it does not manifest.
I am halfway through the week - so far - the days don't feel that much longer but I am out of sorts / routine in the evenings.... the weather has been so lame we cannot sit out on the deck... I am trying not to eat when I come home but, it is a habit to fix a little something .... so need some behaviour modification.
we were very slow to rise this morning... so mr. w was quite grumbly as he was behind schedule by about 20 minutes which impacts his commute time greatly.
my son was barely out of bed in time to catch his bus. he leaves for school much earlier than his sister. he is going to see if he can negotiate a ride from one of his grandparents... as a treat
it is raining again. did you know last year it was 30 degrees celcius at this time? feels like a different planet. reminds me of the ray bradbury story all summer in a day - that short bit of fiction killed me.

jobs for 15 year olds; hmmm... that was the last summer I was home as a kid, 15... by 16 I was away the summer working at a camp...
it is cold here again but we had sun earlier this week so I can't complain...
I was thinking of that Bradbury story just the other day! For the same reason as you, naturally ;)
