Friday is my new favourite day. Despite the fact that the sun is rapidly disappearing behind the grey clouds. Rain is predicted. Rain. Again. I do not need to rush in the morning. I am a big fan of not rushing.
We are attempting to clone our tulip tree.
We are eating fresh local strawberries. There are the best ones in years.
I have my first mosquito bite.
My youth are still unemployed.
I desperately need to find an upholsterer. A student who is studying the art of upholstery. I have some solid, very fine furniture that needs recovering. The quotes from the the larger companies have been astronomical. I could take my family on another trip to Maui for the price they quoted. Or buy a whole new set of furniture but I don't want to do that. I have thought about trying to do it myself but I think that would be a disaster and my free time is precious.
We are slowly finding our way into a summer routine. Yeah for the weekend.
