happy friday

The boys are creating a border for my lavendar / hosta bed.  My daughter may have strep throat - one of the side-effects of hanging out in the pool all day with small children.  My sister who was a life-guard always got strep throat in the summer time.

It is crazy to me that the weekend is almost upon us.  We have NO big plans and that is OK with me.
I have some books to read and some new recipes to try.

We have consumed a tonne of cherries and are moving on to blueberries.
