oh westport. you of various shades of grey. where the weather is considered very fine if the rain is not blowing sideways. where everyone makes their own version of seafood chowder. where breakfast omelettes are heaped on your plate. with our little room in the inn complete with fridge so we could chill our beer after a day at the beach. where the local police station has propped up a dummy in a car on the main drag to deter visitors from speeding down the main drag. where the only place to buy coca cola was in a shop that was closed due to an emergency. we will miss you.
next up: two family get togethers in one day. breakfast with my inlaws - my sister in law is in town for 3 weeks - it is my husband's parents 50th wedding anniversary on the 13th and we are all going to stay in a house by the lake. this morning is a little prep meeting.
later today we are off to have a bbq with my sisters and cousins.
it is raining. what the heck is that all about?

I'm going to bookmark that Inn's website! I've been looking for somewhere to stay in that area for a holiday sometime!
