November brings:

  • rain and more rain - the first day did not disappoint.  it was still pitch black at 7:30am
  • baking - there shall be more baking - soon we will begin our gingerbread production
  • retreat in the rockies
  • remembrance day
  • advent
  • the end of our football days
  • hopefully some poloroid photos
  • new guests at Habit
Did you know that on this day - during the year 1512 the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel painted by Michaelangelo was exhibited to the public for the first time.  And Othello opened to the public in 1604.

Interesting fact about Michelangelo.
A friend of mine went to visit the Cestine chapel after they "deep cleaned" the ceiling and said it was absolutely amazing.

...I think I need a muffin.

I am learning the things I love about each season more each year. Most of it revolves around food....and I look forward to fall for baking, pumpkin goodness, curry, rice bowls and other foods we make in the fall.

gorgeous.

I adore Advent. Not as much as Lent , but last year we tried to be a little more intentional about it and it made such a difference
