It is time to put away the decorations. And I am OK with that. I like the clean open space that is created when the tree is gone. I enjoyed Christmas and I took delight in our festive touches but I also appreciate the transition to the new year. Tomorrow we are off to pick up our calendars at 50% off - and a new journal/ daytime. I usually get a moleskin daytime but, I might just get a blank journal and use that in combination with my phone this year.

I'm looking at our tree and decorations and thinking about disassembling everything...it seems like it only just went up!
I love taking the decorations down too, it feels like a fresh start.
