a new project

I went back to the abandoned building with a friend on my lunch.  My reputation as a slight nutbar was solidified in the eyes of my coworkers.

but a colleauge who can see you as a slight nutbar and still work with you means they respect you and have a healthy sense of awe. that's what i tell myself, at least :'D

it always amazes me, the abandoning of a building...

great pictures-- these remind me of a National Geographic article from a few years back about abandoned houses in some dead prairie town....so depressing and yet oddly beautiful.....

I really like the last picture (though they're all good). And "nutbar" is a very funny word. They played "Oh Canada" on tv tonight, something to do with the Olympics. Made me think of you. Of course.

I opened the first photo first and kept staring at it,
thinking this is your place?

and of course now I understand.
It looks as though someone literally just walked away?
So eerie.
These are amazing photos.

and I love the word nutbar. use it. embrace it .

I love it! Nutbars are the best. Especially since they are generally misunderstood. Great photos, btw. They are mysteriously provoking.
