shutting off the radio

I have shut off the radio this morning.  Too much chatter.  Silence is what I crave.
It is dark.  And colder again.  We have alot going on.  Studying for finals.  A job interview for my son.
A tonne of math homework.  And science.   Time. Displacement and Velocity.  Doing the work.

Crazy changes at my own place of employment.  Fending off the flue virus.
Subaru and Jetta needed attending to.

Trying to stay focused on the immediate tasks at hand.

Sometimes I fight tooth and nail ,
the focus, the going in and getting it done.

I was just perusing on 8 tracks so ,
yeah, convicted. I feel like I'm spinning my wheels a bit lately, but I have a soul full of trust , so there's that.

Make a list...and just go one by one. It helps me with becoming over whelmed by it all.

It's oddly gratifying to turn the radio "off". God go with you in the dark corners, that he may illuminate them with his grace.

Silence is good. Sounds a bit overwhelming; yes; focus at the task at hand and the rest will be dealt with the same way. You are never alone. Breathe deep. God is with us.

I love the picture very much.
