word of the year - stretch

Stretch

To lengthen or widen, to make taut or tighten, to reach or extend beyond the natural limits, to expand to in order to fulfill a larger function, to make due with limited resources,  to go for a walk

Initially this was not the word hovering in my consciousness but as 2010 drew to a close - it kept rising to the surface.  This year I am going to focus on integrating my mind and body.  I am to stretch and extend myself both creatively and physiologically.  I literally need to stretch.   My spine is a mess.   I want to dare to take more risks creatively.  Enter a photo contest - or participate in a collaborative project.   Submit a story for publication. 

There is also a spiritual and an emotional stretch going on as well.  The capacity to love beyond what you thought you had it in you.
