longer than some marriages
Yesterday was my last day of work with a company I have been with for 11 years. That is a long time. My children were just wee. Starting grade one. In fact that is one of the reasons I joined the company as it allowed me to work part-time - to be home in the afternoons and evenings. Eventually I switched to full-time and so it went.
The day was bittersweet. Quiet. Uneventful. I tidied up loose ends. Made phone calls and let people know I was leaving.
It was crazy beautiful and warm. The sun was shining and the sky was blue. So blue.
Today is a transition day. Re-orienting myself and letting go. Moving forward. Lots of unknown.
Resting.

I'm so excited for you!
and opening wide before you are the doors of opportunity
walk through them boldly, in humility, and with a heart ready to receive
let us know how it goes - I know that anything new can be overwhelming at first - put you on the list at the monastery...
