St Stephens day was spent in the city hanging with my parents and siblings - we had a rousing game of apples to apples , ate some turkey, sampled some shortbread, chauffeured some teenagers and one aunt, picked up some coffee, opened some presents. It was quite different than my customary don't change out of the pyjamas all day; everyone fend for themselves food wise kind of day. It was good though. I am learning to embrace the different and let go of the old ways to make room for the new.
Now that I have a full 6 months under
my belt at the new job I am ready to start the year with a little experience and a whole lot of planning. I am looking forward to the challenge.
