On a whim I decided to create a chemical reaction on my tile floor - vinegar and baking soda worked wonders to lift the grime caught in my grout. Not by itself - a good dose of elbow grease is also required. Which means the chore will last more than on Monday. But, it is very satisfying.
I spend a good couple of hours cleaning my floor - and then off to run errands. I ended up in the vortex of a grocery store that is in the middle of a renovation. Bad news. It took me twice as long to find items. I ended up going home without a few things on my list which meant I had to stop somewhere else and that turned out to be a GONG show. 3 hours later I was back at home.
I was done. I mixed up my choc chip cookie dough. I prepared dinner. I drove my daughter to dance.
She found a ride home which was a little gift to me that I gladly accepted.
