The template I really wanted to use come with a dorky picture of feet... we have tried everything to fix it and put my own image in the header to no avail and so now I am jumping around and testing out other templates... when really I should just go to bed.

Hi, I'm a friend of Amy's, I just wanted to tell you how to put your own pic into your template.
You have to post a pic to your blog to be able to put it in the template. Find your pic and open it in a new post and then save it as draft. Then open that post and go to the html button beside the compose button, then you copy the url of the pic there and put it into the place where your old header was in the template. I just figured it out. Did that make sense? I hope I helped:)
OK - That is similar to what we tried.. but I will give it another attempt after work today.
Thanks.
unfortunately the one ramone wants runs on a javascript. accordingly we need to be able to save the altered script (which contains the link to the desired image) to a dedicated host. it is the host we lack which will save a .js file :) most free hosting sites will change the script file name, thus nullifying the readability.
yeah, that is correct!
i like this template...
