Job Update
I received an email from our HR department about the position I applied for - they wanted me to be clear that the pay scale grade for the position was actually lower than where I am currently - so ultimately I would be earning less. After I reviewed the job description again, I decided that I would withdraw from the competition. I have worked very hard to get where I am - why would I demote myself - not that money is everything - but it does come in handy when your roof springs a LEAK.
yes - 25+ days of solid rain has taken a toll on our little abode... roofer came by and said "oh yes, and pretty much diagnosed why it was leaking - he has to come back to tell us how much damage was done and for how long it has been leaking - just how wet it is - and then tell us how to fix it.
that is all for tonight.
