Last night did not work out quite as planned - after a cold beverage on the deck - we rallied ourselves to begin operation "caterpillar be gone". We didn't finish until after 9pm. After showers and some down time we BBQ'd some burgers and called it a night. There was not alot of relaxing going on. I was thinking about how sometimes you have to have sacrifice and do the right thing and it is lame. The right thing was to save the tree from destruction. But, it would have been so much nicer to just sit and relax after a long day of work. Kind of like how I have counseled my daughter to embrace the fact that for the next 2 weeks she will be giving up her free time to study for final exams. It is not forever and she will be free soon enough but to stop fighting the lameness of the situation and just embrace the fact she will have be hardcore.
I work today. Football practise for my son. Dance for my daughter. We celebrate Pentecost tomorrow and Fr. L would like some greenery in the church. My comrad in the decorating of the church is away all weekend so it is up to me. So, I guess I am doing that apres work. Then some rest is at hand.
I am either suffering from allergies or a summer cold. Pretty sure it is allergies. Cooler temperatures prevail.

how exactly do you get rid of tree worms?
Yes. Wise, this. I hope the tree will have a good season.
Blessed Pentecost.
I love it when we have a few hot days, and then the cooler weather and a bit of rain come in - it smells so heavenly, and everything glistens so green.
