glorious goldies


One of the good things about cooler weather is that I have cracked open the cookbooks and I am baking again. The Greystone Bakery Cookbook is my favourite dessert resource. They have a fantastic poppyseed cake with cream cheese icing that is well loved in this family. Yesterday I made Glorious Goldies - a "blond brownie" - similar to choc chip cookies but in bar form. We ate them with Ice Milk. Yum.

I have googled Greystone Bakery and lo and behold they have a blog and a big Internet presence - check them out.
