The promised rain has come. It is dark and windy and grey - a complete contrast from the warm blue skies from the weekend. We were all slower to rise. My daughter is at the point where exhaustion is close to setting in. Tonight the year end recital and then she can relax and focus on her academics. We will get her for some physio for her ankle and she can take a break from dancing. She is disappointed that she will not be en pointe tonight but she has many, many more years ahead of her.
Have you' all heard about the craziest trend that you keep your jeans tied with a shoelace in lieu of a belt? I have to say I did not believe my son, but then we went shopping and they are now selling jeans with built in shoelace/ string belt accessory. Which is apparently NOT the way to go. You need to provide your own shoelace.
Today is my late start today so I will be working on the laundry and mixing up a batch of choc chip cookies.
We are missing the 2nd last episode of LOST tonight and the final is Sunday. Sunday.
