All in all it was a good long weekend. The sun really did not shine with any strength until Monday afternoon but we were outside a good portion of the days.
I finished The Swan Thieves - which I quite enjoyed - the first novel of the summer. I am creating a reading list that will carry me over the next few months.
We are all looking forward to summer and the change of pace. Both of my children are looking for part-time jobs. My daughter will be taking more life guarding/ first aid courses in pursuit of being a life guard when she turns 16.
We BBQ'ed, we dissected the last episode of LOST, we drank beer on the deck and tested our new fire pit.

I heard a lot of chipping of teeth about "The Swan Thieves" but I really enjoyed it. Glad you did too.
