I have to say that the Hillside Rose is pretty darn fabulous.  I am sitting on my deck and the sun has gone down.  Mr. W spent the day fishing on a lake and is done.  As in he has gone to bed.  I will not waste this Friday evening .... when I don't have to rise early and go to work... so I am blogging outside.  The moon is half full and hiding behind a cloud.  There is still light in the sky.  My daughter is home with 2 friends - crammed in her bedroom.  I hear laughter and maybe some tears.   My son is watching a movie.  He is home and we had some good conversation.   At first I was sad to be here alone but, really it is a gift.  Everything is a gift.  Do I have the heart and open hands to receive?  That is the question.   Tonight.  I am able to sit here and be thankful.  We will have friends over for dinner tomorrow.  My husband's parents will come for dinner Sunday.  My children will find part time work.  All is right with the world.  Even if it rains tomorrow.
