six things on a saturday

  • We are heading into my favourite magazine season.  This is the only time I buy fashion magazines.  And the reality is that I never wear anything that looks remotely like anything in the layouts but I love the fact they are super thick and I think I am getting some serious value.
  • I am still sleeping outside and loving it.  I added a hoodie to the mix and I was considerably more comfortable.  Overall the temperatures have dropped so I will more than likely pack up the tent on Sunday.
  • I am on the hunt for another good novel.
  • I am on VACATION and it is fantastic.  I love the fact that the days stretch before me.
  • It is considerably calmer and quieter without my daughter in the house.  Weird.  She brings a different energy.  I miss her already.
  • I decided I am growing out my hair.

Have you read anything/everything by Kate Atkinson? Maile Meloy? Lori Lansens? Josephine Tey? Dorothy Sayers? Andrea Barrett? Apparently I like female novelists. I think they're all pretty reliable. What are you in the mood for?

I think it's great that you sleep outside! The weather is changing here too...but we still have a month before school starts up again! Enjoy your vacation!
