out takes

It is cold.  Colder than it has been in a long time.  And one of our gas fireplaces has decided to stop working.  Normally in March it would not be such a big deal.  But, the sun room is chilly when the fireplace is non functional.  The guy has been called.  Some things we try to fix ourselves.  Gas appliances we don't.

My daughter is in Philadelphia.  She is at a dance festival.  She has a ballet audition.  She forgot all her ballet gear at home.  All of it.  Her leotards.  Her tights.  Her shoes.  No shoes.  No audition.  She is at this moment seeing if she can purchase shoes for a reasonable price.  If not, then she will forgo the audition.  In the grand scheme of things it is not that big of a deal, but I can only imagine the drama going on.  She feels incredibly frustrated with herself.  She is nervous and she will be very glad when this part of the trip is over.

The dark room is coming along nicely.  We are ready to paint it black.  Inside.  All black.  Then the counter tops and I can claim my rooms back.

I got lots going on inside.  Ideas.  Plans.   All simmering in the background.  Not ready for the light of day yet.  But, it is good.
