picked up BC Bookworld today
opened it and page two full of young adult fiction written by BC authors
one day one day

I am working on a new system for keeping ideas
when the thought for a story/ plot/ character comes I write it down in a small journal just for that purpose - then the idea has been received in full and treated with the respect it deserves - a gift from the muse - because sure as anything I know - if I don't write it down I will never remember it in it's truest rendition - it will be a vague semblance of the idea -and it won't be quite right.

a fairly productive day at work
as much as I don't want summer to end; we barely had any heat at all, I am feeling the transition to autumn and that is not necessarily a bad thing.
september magazines are on their way to newstands
this is my most favourite time to buy a magazine

vogue is always a doorstop full of crazy fashion I would never wear but lovely to look at

finally the Dovekeepers arrived at the library
