just little things

I love chestnuts.  I love picking them up off the ground still shiny from their drop.  We gather them and discreetly tuck them into the corners of our house to fend off the spiders.  While out on our photo adventure we stumbled upon the mother of all chestnut trees.  More chestnuts than corners available.  They look awesome in a brandy glass too!

Both of my sisters have reached out this past week.  I  have been uncharacteristically quiet on that front.  Partly because I am usually the one whose glass is half full and I haven't really been myself of late so, there is this ridiculous notion that I best not get into things too deeply as it will not be an uplifting conversation.  But, who says I have to be the one doing the uplifting right?

The lack of light is messing me up.   The days are wonderful and bright and warm but, the darkness falls quickly and I lose my game.  I tried something different yesterday.  I slept in a little longer and then I forced myself to say up and exercise in the evening... this gave me more energy so I tackled so laundry and did some chores and then went to bed.... maybe this is the way to go...

There is shortage of over the counter cold and flue medicine.  We discovered it last week while out looking for Neocitran.  It is our generic go to for all things cold and flue.  Stock up while you can.

Happy Wednesday folks!
