six things on a Thursday

  1. these particular tulips are now all flopsy-mopsy and on their way out.  they have given all they had to give
  2. jeans day for BC Children's Hospital today.  Friday and Saturday we can wear jeans too... I may need to find some more jeans.
  3. it is raining again.  the hand drawn suns have been resurrected to places of high visibility.  I feel the weight of the weather in my soul.
  4. we are out of milk.  and tea.  who runs out of milk and tea?
  5. the macbook charger has bit the dust so we are scrambling with one.
  6. I work on Saturday.   I will miss the wedding.  And the one day of sunshine.  Woe is me.  I'm so woe.

we run out of milk (and milk products) all the time.

tea, on the other hand.... that's odd. you can come shop at my tea-shelf, there is a lot to pick from and i can't drink it until Autumn. most is loose leaf.

and you are not woe. it does not define you. it simply visits, especially on these dismal grey days.

isn't it supposed to be spring?
hopefully all this means is the little rhyme is true: April showers bring May flowers. and May will be here next week!

My daffodils wilted so quickly, even quicker than tulips. We have a little warmth here. I'm sending some your way.

:( bummer to miss the wedding. hold on; the sun will come out again; I love that icon...I have it as well; still so strange/unexpected that I will be moving my icons in a few months...
love to you.

I love that icon with the white tulips.
They were my wedding flowers. It was our 24th Monday. So much woe... but so so much wonderful.

peace to you.
